If your 700HDX unit is displaying "VMS.EXE has experienced a serious error" or "DRIVE.EXE has experienced a serious error" message.
A: There are a few steps you can take to resolve the issue. If you wanted to restore normal operation we have found that copying all the files off the map SD card onto a temporary folder on a Windows PC, followed by reformatting the map card and then copying the files back onto the card restores normal operation, if you have some basic computer skills you may give this a go, full procedure is attached to this link. Alternatively you can contact VMS directly on (03) 9017 5589 or e-mail us for further assistance.
